Get your dinglehoppers ready! The Summer Theatre Program is heading under the sea, and we hope you’ll join us this summer!
Auditions
Auditions will be Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15. You do NOT need to attend both days; pick the one that works best for you.
Times are TBD but will be in the evening– please fill in an Audition Form to register and get on our mailing list
Callbacks will be Sunday, May 17 (time TBD in the afternoon).
While we prefer to see you in-person, we will also accept video submissions if you cannot attend either audition date. To audition by video, email a video of you singing for one minute to info@summertheatreprogram.org. The deadline for video submissions is Saturday, May 16 at noon.

Auditions and callbacks will all be at Saint Bernadette School, located at 7602 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield, VA 22152. The school building is located behind the church. Please enter using Door 2 (the gym), and follow signs to the cafeteria to check in.
Key Production Dates
On your audition form, we will ask about any conflicts, so please check your summer calendar.
In particular, these are key dates for our production this summer:
- Sat. July 11 (evening) – Ticket Sales Weekend
- Sun. July 12 (all day) – Ticket Sales Weekend
- Mon. July 20 (evening) – Tech Week
- Tues. July 21 (evening) – Tech Week
- Wed. July 22 (evening) – Tech Week
- Thurs. July 23 (evening) – Performance
- Fri. July 24 (evening) – Performance
- Sat. July 25 (all day) – Matinee and Evening Performances
- Sun. July 26 (all day) – Strike
- Sun. July 26 (evening) – Cast & Crew Party
Rehearsals and ticket sales will take place at Saint Bernadette. Starting July 20, we’ll move to Bishop Ireton High School for tech week, performances, and strike.
